Chai - real real!

yes I love spice! Chai, Chai Latte, Chai recently gladly Presso! Simply delicious and in the winter just the thing to warm up after sledding - or just because! O)

Most also my Chai comes from the tea bag, because there are now some really good varieties in the trade. Too cheap, but it should not be high Chai tastes much better already.
am Yesterday, I then randomly at Chef on a recipe pushed for "homemade" Chai - and I had all the ingredients in the house (there the whole spices's in our Asia-Laden to really great price) I am now range dares. The recipe:
about 1 liter of water
6 capsules green cardamom
4 - 6 cloves
1 tablespoon fennel seeds (I had only the bag there, but goes well!)
1 teaspoon anise seeds (or 2 star anise)
1 stick of cinnamon
1-2 tsp fresh, chopped ginger
4 tablespoons black tea (ie, the herb, not the prepared tea)

the spices in a pan without fat fry slightly (really slightly), then fill with water and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. (If you like, gives after 10 minutes there and milk -.
